Benjamin Cobb is not a career politician. He is a citizen who has lived through the system’s failures and is running to fix them.
He is a 20-year U.S. Army veteran with deployments and is 100% service-connected disabled. He is a father of 8. His life experience—raised in foster care from age 2 to 17, experiencing homelessness at age 6, and becoming a parent in high school—weren’t setbacks; they were lessons in resilience and accountability.
Benjamin holds an Associate’s in Accounting, is pursuing his Bachelor’s, and has successfully owned both a semi-pro football team and a small honeybee farm (hobby). A lifelong advocate for inclusion and equality, Benjamin’s core belief is People Over Politics. He knows what’s broken because he’s lived it—and he’s running to rebuild the foundation with merit and common sense.

The political elite rigged the game to protect themselves. They created loopholes for corruption, maintained a welfare system that traps the working poor, and built a two-party cartel to stop outsiders from fixing it.

The Cobb platform is a single, integrated plan: We install the Corruption Police (FATF) to enforce Absolute Ethics (AEA), and use every dollar recovered to fund Work-Centered Welfare (OBBB+) and pay down the national debt. We protect all officials and citizens with Zero-Blind-Spot Security (FTSA) and ensure the next generation of leaders comes from outside the elite by ensuring Ballot Fairness (BFRA).

Kick the Parties Out of Power
Theme: Electoral and Structural Reform
The Problem: The two-party cartel rigged the system to keep independents and third parties off the ballot, out of the debates, and away from power. Your choice is pre-selected and limited.
The Solution: We break the two-party monopoly. This Act mandates uniform national ballot access for all federal candidates and removes all party labels from the ballot itself. We will use a 5% polling threshold—not party favor—to determine who gets a spot on the debate stage, ensuring leadership is earned, not inherited.
No More Million-Dollar Goodbyes
Theme: Lifetime Accountability and Anti-Corruption
The Problem: Politicians cash out their public service by becoming lobbyists, turning insider knowledge into private profit. The “revolving door” is the single greatest structural source of corruption.
The Solution: We impose a permanent, lifetime ban on former officials lobbying the branch of government they once served. We require real-time financial transparency (spouse and dependents only) and 90-day trade delays to end insider trading. Corruption is now a high-consequence felony, with all fines and seized assets diverted directly to the Public Trust Fund to reduce debt and fund OBBB+.

Theme: Independent, Permanent Enforcement
The Problem: Existing oversight bodies (Ethics Committees, Inspectors General) are crippled by bureaucracy and weaponized by politics, creating systemic impunity for the elite.
The Solution: We create a single, permanent, and non-partisan anti-corruption agency: the Federal Accountability and Trust Force (FATF). The Director is elected to a seven-year term, entirely independent of the President or Congress. The FATF is funded by corruption forfeitures (AEA) and acts as the unyielding, permanent enforcement arm for all anti-corruption policies.
End Welfare as a Lifestyle
Theme: Work-Centered Welfare Reform
The Problem: The current welfare system traps people in poverty by punishing work, ignoring mental health, and encouraging fraud. It fails both the taxpayer and the recipient.
The Solution: We end welfare dependency and create a genuine, fraud-proof ladder out of poverty. This policy mandates a 20-hour work/training requirement for federal aid, enforces 100% skills-based, blind hiring for all federal contracts, and uses fines from corruption (AEA) to fund mental health integration and job training. It is designed to reward effort, not dependency.
Never Another Cover-Up
Theme: Zero Blind Spots in Security Operations
The Problem: Gaps in surveillance footage, missing audio, and destroyed evidence allow cover-ups to occur when the stakes are highest—particularly in incidents involving high-level officials or national security events.
The Solution: The FTSA mandates mandatory 4K body-worn cameras and vehicle cameras for all large-scale or federally linked security operations. All footage is uploaded in real-time to a tamper-proof digital record. This policy is entirely self-funded through service fees, ensuring zero taxpayer dollars are spent. Life Over Logistics: zero blind spots, zero excuses, zero cover-ups.
